Data Collection

The SaneScan app does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or scan contents. If you email SaneApps for launch updates or support, SaneApps receives the email address and message you choose to send.

Local Scans

SaneScan stores scans, images, OCR text, and exported files locally on your device unless you choose to share or export them through iOS.

Camera And Photos

Camera access is used only when you choose to scan a document.
Photo library access is used only when you choose images to import.
Exports are shared only when you open the system share sheet yourself.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit. SaneScan uses Apple's transaction state to unlock Pro features.
